PanAfGeo+ is the third phase of the Pan-African Support to the EuroGeoSurveys – Organisation of African Geological Surveys (OAGS) Partnership. Funded by the European Union, it continues to strengthen the capacities of African Geological Surveys through advanced training, institutional cooperation, and cross-continental collaboration.

Over four years, the programme will deliver around 42 training sessions in English, French, and Portuguese, reaching nearly 900 geoscientists from across Africa. Led by African and European experts, the training covers key themes in sustainable geoscience, digital transformation, and resource governance.

PanAfGeo+ is jointly implemented by EuroGeoSurveys and the Organisation of African Geological Surveys (OAGS), and coordinated by BRGM. It aligns with Agenda 2063 and the EU Global Gateway, supporting Africa’s green transition and science-driven development.
